Hello everyone,

I have just managed to do a one-foot pedal in my wheelchair to the computer ThumpUp

Oh... the freedom is going to my head.

Thank you all for your kind good wishes. It was lovely to read all the notes from everyone.

I'll never catch up with everyone and the 'goings-on' while I have been indisposed - so commiserations to those having a rough time, happy birthday to those who became a year older and congratulations to anyone who has done something worth shouting about.

My foot is feeling pretty good, but they took some bone from my pelvis to patch up my foot, and that is pretty sore right now. It is especially sore when I cough, bend or stretch. But the only way is up now. I do feel a lot better in myself and am beginning to get my appetite back again.

I am in a cast from toes to just under the knee. This cast is a lovely shade of purple Blink I have to have another cast next week and I can choose a different colour ... how exciting. As I shall be in casts for the next 10 weeks, I shall have to colour-coordinate my clothes to the casts BigGrin

My carers are working well and each day I am able to do a bit more, so I am feeling as though it won't be too long before I am independent.

I haven't got Trudy Scrumptious back yet, but am looking into having a dog flap put on my back door so that she can get in and out on her own.

All for now. Thanks again. I am sooooo glad to be back.

Warmest wishes, Ann (Monty)

hi Ann,

Lovely to see you back!

I'm so glad the op went well and you are on the road to recovery.
I bet you are missing Trudy so much, I hope you can get her back soon.

Can you get your next cast in a sparkly pink, then you could join us on the ski slopes in our sparkly pink wellies!BigGrin
Careful now, whizzing about in that wheel chair!

Love, Doreen xx

Oh Ann,

I am so glad that you are back and on the road to recovery. it sounds like an operation and a half! What a long time to be in plaster but at least you are not stuck with plain white.

Will be wonderful if you can have Trudy home as long as she doesn't trip you up!

Keep in touch. Hope that you are not in too much pain and discomfort.

Love Eleanor x

Thank you for all your kind remarks. It really is lovely to be back in touch again.

I get the cast changed next Thursday, so will seriously think about pink to match the lycra suits LOL

Arranging to get a dog flap on the door so that Trudy Scrumptious can go into the garden without having to wait for me to open the door ThumpUp With a bit of luck, she'll be home next weekend.

Warmest wishes, Ann

Hi Ann

Glad to hear that the op went well and you are on the road to recovery. Good to know that you can get a cast in the right shade to match the lycra!! Smile
